Carlos A. Vasquez

Mr. Vasquez is known in the Reno-Sparks area as a lobbyist and a business man. However, he may be better known as the man behind the controversial Lazy 8 Casino and the Sparks City Council ethics investigation that ended up in the Nevada and United States Supreme Courts.

His company’s website, CAV Strategies, has described his business model as, “Technically speaking, STRATEGY is the “science or art of combining and employing the means of war in planning and directing large military movements and operations.” We here at CAV Strategies prefer the more subdued definition that strategy is a “plan, method, or series of maneuvers or stratagems for obtaining a specific goal or result.”
Whether you’re dealing with difficult land use and zoning issues or navigating the local or state political landscape, C.A.V. Strategies, Ltd. can guide you through these processes so you can achieve your goals.”
